During the pandemic, we have used the workshop space in the distillery to allow us to employ social distancing measures to keep our staff safe and well and to use this additional capacity to make alcohol sanitiser to help towards combating COVID-19.

As a result of these unforeseen changes, we have had to rethink how we use our distillery space and, after careful consideration, we have taken the difficult decision to close the workshop at our Market Harborough distillery to allow us to focus on the production of our spirits.

We love gin. We’ve loved gin since before we founded Two Birds Spirits way back in 2012 and it’s safe to say we’ve learnt a fair bit about gin and distilling.

From our early days tinkering away in the home workshop, we’ve always been fascinated by the history of this wonderful spirit; the distilling process; the botanical selection; and ultimately, what the difference is between a good gin and an exceptional gin. We’ve gathered a fair bit of knowledge over the years and we want to share this with like-minded gin lovers.

So come join us for a gin masterclass… and let’s make gin!

At the Workshop we don’t blend; we don’t infuse; and we certainly don’t use any artificial flavourings. We distil. Which means you distil. Using your very own miniature copper stills, you can become your own gin distiller.

On the day, our incredibly experienced and friendly Ginstructors will talk you through the history of gin and distilling. You’ll select your own ingredients from our botanicals bar, where we have a huge selection of fresh & dried botanicals to choose from; then pop them in your still and watch as your own craft gin comes to life!
